Karol Henckel Visits the Bluth House

History

The cottage’s name is “Escondite”, which means “hiding place” in spanish. When his wife Tracy fell ill, Michael looked after her at the beach house; after she passed away, Michael was so heartbroken that the rest of Bluth family lied to him and told him that they sold the house after she died.

Present

Thirty years later, while scubadiving Michael swims to the beach and realises that he is looking at the house where his wife passed away. When he knocks on the door, his mother Lucille answers and Michael realizes that they never sold the cottage and Lucille thought that he would’ve never came back if they told him otherwise.
