If you don’t know about Friends, you must have been born about a week ago or haven’t turned on a TV in the past 25 years. This NBC hit show ran from 1994-2004 and was the top show in television. The actors, all of who are great, were the most highly paid actors on television, and for good reason.

All the characters were amazingly intelligent nerds. It wasn’t the type of show I would expect to love, but I almost never missed an episode. Sometimes, it was so funny, I thought I would end up with cardiac arrest. In my favorite episode, Sheldon goes to jail. Can you believe that? He goes to court and has his mugshot taken and everything! Hilarious.

My favorite character is Raymond’s brother, Robert is another good character who seems to be everywhere on TV these days. His name is Brad Garrett.  In this show, he plays a police officer, though I don’t think he ever makes any arrests on camera.

I was very sad in the episode where Ryan was arrested for fraud after he tried a scheme to make more money. He had been promoted to Dunder Mifflin head office in New York. I bet his mugshot would be funny. At first I was afraid that he wouldn’t be in the show any more, especially after his arrest, but in the following season, he came back to Scranton and he was still great.

Arrested Development is the one show that always had me laughing from beginning to end, every single season. It’s weird because this show was not popular at first. It aired on Fox TV starting for three seasons and didn’t get great reviews. But when Netflix picked it up, it suddenly started becoming very popular. It remains popular to this very day even though it last aired in 2018.
